Under Quebec's Law 25 (An Act to modernize legislative provisions as regards the protection of personal information), every business in Quebec must designate a person responsible for the protection of personal information and publish their contact details. This designation must be completed before the site goes live.
2. What we collect
We collect only what we need to prepare your estimate and carry out the work.
Information you give us
- Identification and contact — full name, phone number, email address.
- Building location — street address and postal code.
- Roof details — building type, year installed or last redone, observed condition, last maintenance.
- Preferences — best time to reach you, communication consents.
Information collected automatically
- Technical browsing data: device type, browser, pages viewed, date and time of visit.
- This data is used only to keep the site working properly and to measure overall usage.
We collect no sensitive information: no social insurance number, no banking details, no health information.

4. Your consent
You consent to the collection of your information by completing the quote form. This consent is free, informed and given for specific purposes.
Two consents are separate and handled independently:
- Communications about your file (required to process the request) — confirmations, appointment reminders, service follow-up.
- Promotional communications (optional) — offers, discounts, news. Declining changes nothing about your quote or your service.
You may withdraw your consent at any time by writing to facturation.logisolution@gmail.com.
5. Text messages (SMS)
- Message frequency varies with the progress of your file.
- Message and data rates may apply depending on your plan.
- Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving messages.
- Reply HELP for assistance.
- Unsubscribing from promotional messages does not stop messages about an appointment already scheduled.
6. Who we share it with
We never sell your personal information and never rent it to anyone.
It may be shared, strictly on a need-to-know basis, with:
- Our technicians and subcontractors, to carry out the inspection and the work at your address.
- Our technology providers — website hosting, request management tool, email and SMS delivery service. Name the providers actually used here.
- Competent authorities, where the law requires it.
If a provider stores data outside Quebec, Law 25 requires a privacy impact assessment and an explicit statement here.
7. How long we keep it
- Requests with no follow-up — kept 24 months, then destroyed.
- Customer files — kept for the full warranty period, then for the period required by tax and accounting obligations (generally 7 years).
- Communication consents — kept for as long as they are valid, plus the required proof period.
After those periods, information is securely destroyed or anonymized.
8. How we protect it
- Encrypted transmission between your browser and the site (HTTPS).
- Access limited to the people who need it for their work.
- Password-protected accounts and, where available, two-factor authentication.
No system is foolproof. In the event of a confidentiality incident presenting a risk of serious injury, we will notify you and inform the Commission d'accès à l'information, as Law 25 requires.
9. Your rights
Quebec law gives you the right to:
- Access the information we hold about you;
- Correct information that is inaccurate, incomplete or ambiguous;
- Withdraw your consent to a use or a disclosure;
- Request deletion of information when keeping it is no longer justified;
- Receive your information in a structured, commonly used technological format (portability).

If our answer does not satisfy you, you may file a complaint with the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec.
10. Cookies
The site uses minimal local storage to remember your language choice. No advertising cookies or third-party trackers are placed.
If you add Google Analytics, the Meta pixel or a similar tool, it must be declared here and a consent banner must be displayed.
11. Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top of the page always indicates the version in force. If a change materially affects your rights, we will notify you directly.
